Chicken with chestnuts
½ chicken cut into pieces
10 slices ginger
Dark soya sauce
Light soya sauce
Soak the chestnuts overnight and remove the skin
Heat the sesame oil and fry ginger slices
Add the chicken and stir fry until colour changes
Add seasoning and stir fry until thoroughly mixed.
Add water and chestnuts.
Simmer until chicken is cooked
This dish is also a favourite with children
